Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading electrical design projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and mentoring junior engineers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects in various sectors, including healthcare and commercial developments. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for various projects.
- Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to create integrated design solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and codes.
- Manage project timelines and budgets while maintaining quality standards.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in technical and professional growth.
- Willingness to travel for projects nationally and internationally
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D CAD software.
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design and engineering principles.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical design, with a focus on commercial, Federal, and healthcare projects.
- 5 plus years of experience in Electrical Design including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, coordination/arc flash studies
- Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code
